Mr Andrew (Fred) Robinson BSc FRCS (Orth)
Consultant Orthopaedic & Foot and Ankle Surgeon

Andrew 'Fred' Robinson

Having trained with a number of eminent foot and ankle specialists in the UK, United States and France, I took up a post at Addenbrookes Hospital as a Consultant in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, taking over the "foot & ankle" case load that had been left by my predecessor.

I am the founder of the Cambridge Foot & Ankle Clinic and have further developed the foot and ankle service at Addenbrookes, which now includes day case surgery at Ely Hospital. I specialise in forefoot surgery, tendon pathology ankle replacements and sports injuries; I am undertaking research in these and other areas of foot and ankle surgery.

I am a member of the American, European and British Orthopaedic Foot Societies and a founding member of the East Anglian Foot Society. I am also involved in teaching other surgeons and higher surgical trainees at the Royal College of Surgeons, Stanmore Foot Course, and Oxbridge Foot Learning Centre as well as Registrars on the East Anglian rotation.
